Jeff and Karen McGowan, owners of H Street Antiques & Interiors, are long-time southern Oregon residents.
Both originally from the Bay Area, this couple brought their sense of style to Grants Pass and have been active in the retail antique business for more than a decade.
The McGowan's reputation for quality antique furniture, unusual accessories and vintage lighting has been firmly established.
H Street Antiques & Interior's showroom is staged like a well-appointed home, not a retail store.
Customers find it helpful to visualize furniture pieces in this home-like setting without fussy clutter.
Less is definitely more, according to the McGowans...especially when that "less" is comprised of a judiciously edited selection of the finest furniture in southern Oregon.

A lovely three-door Country French armoire with unusual hand-caned embellishments.
Two strikingly beautiful Asian altar tables. One is adorned with a stylized floral pattern and contains hidden storage drawers. The other is simultaneously primitive and refined with an ebonized finish.
A highly desirable English barley-twist bookcase with glass doors. This piece is an instant classic that will fit into numerous interior decorating styles. Handsome and handy.
A pair of newer Italian decorator side chairs upholstered in a pale country plaid of sage greens and subtle creams. Not only do they look great, they're cozy and comfortable.
A bird's eye maple side table with brass details has been stopping traffic at the front door. The Empire lines are clean and simple lending the brass flourishes the feel of fine jewelry. This one won't last long.

H Street Antiques & Interiors opens between 10:00 and 10:30 AM and closes at 5:30 PM on Mondays through Saturdays. On Sundays, clients are accommodated between 12 Noon and 4:00 PM.
In addition to selling some of southern Oregon's finest antiques, H Street Antiques & Interiors carefully selects high-quality consignments from private collections throughout southern Oregon.
Many customers have been thrilled to be able to sell pieces through the McGowan's store when they've found a piece they'd ilke to purchase.
Inventory at H Street Antiques is rotated on a regular basis - new items arrive daily and consignments are rotated so that the store feels fresh and exciting each time clients visit.
